About NC GreenPower
NC GreenPower is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding public knowledge and acceptance of cleaner energy technologies in North Carolina through community-based initiatives. They have been providing their services since 2003 and have made a significant impact by producing over 1.
07 million MWH of renewable energy and mitigating 123,723 tonnes of greenhouse gases. NC GreenPower has various initiatives, including Solar+ Schools, Renewable Energy, and Carbon Offsets, that they implement through various grants and funding opportunities.
They also provide a variety of calculators to help individuals, events, and businesses reduce their carbon footprint. NC GreenPower encourages the community to get involved through volunteering, requesting speakers, and corporate sponsorship.
